Sexy voices - marry me !!! FOUND THE ONE!!!

OK, so I came up with a few nice examples of gals with voices that reach into your soul and make you weak kneed. But this week I've been rediscovering one voice that surpasses even, perhaps, that of Gladys. This voice is of a very special songwriter, having penned some of the most memorable tunes of the late 60's and early 70's. Many of her biggest hits are more well known as recorded by other artists. However, having listened this week to her own renditions of her own songs, over and over and over, I've come to appreciate her depth of soul to a degree I've rarely heard in any voice.

I write, of course, of the one, the only, LAURA NYRO.

What wonderful songs, both lyrics and melodies, she penned over the years! What a sweet, sexy voice! And, what a striking face - dark hair outlining her deep-into-your-soul dark eyes.

I thank God for letting me be born in 1960 (as opposed to, say, 1823 or 1592) so that I could appreciate the beauty and depth that is the art of the most holy Laura Nyro, a true goddess among mortals.
